Bee Sharp Music Studio’s Policy 2026

Lesson Duration & Frequency:

Lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions. Students may enroll in once-weekly or twice-weekly lessons, based on availability and instructional goals.

Tuition Model (Important): Bee Sharp Music Studio operates on a monthly lesson package model or a Pay-Per-Lesson model.

1. Monthly tuition: Some months include 4 scheduled lesson weeks, while others include 5 scheduled lesson weeks. Monthly tuition reflects the number of lessons scheduled in that month. Tuition is not averaged across the year.

*Monthly tuition is used to provide students with a consistent weekly lesson time and to support long-term musical progress. Rather than paying per individual lesson, families enroll in a monthly lesson package based on the number of scheduled lesson weeks in that month, making it a budget-friendly and cost-effective option in the long term.

2. Pay-Per-Lesson: This method allows students to have fewer than four lessons per month. It is ideal for students with busy schedules or students who want to pay as they go. *Pay-Per-Lesson enrollment is offered on a limited basis and does not reserve a standing weekly lesson time. Pay-Per-Lesson students do not automatically roll over to the next month. Lessons must be requested and confirmed each month, and the frequency of lessons varies depending on the instructor’s availability. Pay-Per-Lesson rates are higher because they do not include the commitments and efficiencies of monthly enrollment. Pay-Per-Lesson still must pay for lessons in advance for each month.

Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals will not extend the scheduled lesson.

Holidays: Bee Sharp Music Studio will be closed during the following holidays in 2026:

Cancellations, Make-Ups, No-Shows & Termination

Student Cancellations: Lessons canceled with at least 48 hours’ notice may qualify for a make-up lesson, subject to instructor availability.

Make-Up Lessons

  • Make-up lessons must be scheduled within the next 30 days and are subject to the instructor’s availability. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and may be offered during alternative times.

  • Unused make-up credits expire after 30 days.

  • Lessons canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed without notice (no-shows) are forfeited and are not eligible for a make-up.

Missed Lessons: Tuition is not reduced for student absences, vacations, or scheduling conflicts. For monthly plan students, your tuition reserves your weekly lesson time.

Termination or withdrawal from lessons: To discontinue lessons, a written notice must be provided at least 30 days in advance. Tuition is still due for the final month of enrollment.

Instructor Cancellations

In the event the instructor must cancel due to illness, emergency, or professional engagement, advance notice will be provided whenever possible. A make-up lesson or credit will be offered. There are no refunds for instructor-canceled lessons.

*In the event of severe weather, power outages, or circumstances beyond the instructor’s control, lessons may be canceled without refund. A make-up lesson, credit, or online lesson may be offered at the instructor’s discretion.
